Machines are taking over tasks more and more frequently, making independent decisions, and executing movements autonomously. Visual and acoustic signals provide orientation, increase awareness in the work environment, and support safe operation – from autonomous agricultural machinery and mobile construction equipment to driverless transport systems.

The modular signal tower from FSG was developed precisely for these requirements. It combines high-performance signaling with a robust, modular architecture and can be flexibly integrated into modern machine and control systems.

01 | LICHTMODUL

Die Signalsäule lässt sich mit einer bis drei eigenständigen Signalebenen konfigurieren. Jede Ebene kann wahlweise als Monocolor- oder RGB-Variante ausgeführt werden und ermöglicht die eindeutige Darstellung unterschiedlicher Betriebs-, Warn- und Statuszustände. So entsteht eine flexibel anpassbare Signallösung innerhalb eines kompakten, modularen Systems.

Das optionale Akustikmodul erweitert die Signalsäule um eine leistungsstarke akustische Warnfunktion mit bis zu 105 dB. Es ergänzt die optische Signalisierung überall dort, wo sicherheitsrelevante Zustände zusätzlich hörbar kommuniziert werden müssen – und fügt sich nahtlos in das modulare Baukastenkonzept ein.

The integrated CAN bus electronics enable targeted control of all signal levels and seamless integration into existing vehicle and machine control systems. This transforms the signal tower into an intelligently integrable signal component that can be flexibly adapted to different machine concepts and applications.

All variants of the signal tower are based on the same technical platform. The combination of standardized modules results in different product configurations that can be precisely tailored to the requirements of the respective application.
The number of light modules, lighting technology, acoustic module, and electronics are combined according to requirements. This results not in a multitude of different products, but in a scalable platform with clearly defined configurations for a wide variety of machine concepts.
