STANDARD SITUATION
In conventional applications, the obstruction light can interfere with the airflow, while the anemometer disrupts the even emission of light.
FSG SOLUTION
By innovatively combining an anemometer and obstruction lights into a single system, FSG offers reliable, precise measurements and unrestricted light intensity. This integration enables optimal performance of both functions without mutual interference.

Optimal positioning
through pendulum function
The pendulum function of the anemometer with obstruction light enables precise vertical positioning of the device, regardless of the tilt angle of the support structure, such as a crane boom. Thanks to the pendulum system, the anemometer and obstruction light always remain in an optimal position to ensure accurate wind measurements and effective illumination for aviation, even if the support structure is tilted or uneven. This feature increases the reliability and accuracy of the system under various operating conditions and in different applications.
Flexible application possible with varying tilt angles of the support object.
Continuously optimal alignment of anemometer and obstruction lights
Improved wind measurement and efficient lighting in air traffic
Increases the reliability and precision of the system.
Versatile and applicable to different application scenarios and requirements

Highly precise measurement results
through perfectly tailored options
The anemometer is made of anodized aluminum and comes standard with a rigid cup star. The electrical connection is freely selectable.
SHEET HEATING
This is an electronically controlled heater that switches on at a temperature of +5 °C. The heater, with a power output of 5 W, can be powered either via the operating voltage or separately, depending on customer requirements.
Cup stars
Maximize the accuracy of your wind measurements with FSG's innovative cup stars, perfectly matched to our anemometers for reliable results and optimal performance.

OPTIONS
Robust shell stars
Made from high-quality aluminum, these products are specifically designed for use in extreme conditions. They offer excellent resistance to harsh weather, temperature fluctuations, and other demanding environmental conditions.
Rigid shell stars
They are equipped as standard with stainless steel cup stars, which offer high resistance to corrosion and weathering. This durable construction ensures reliable performance and a long service life for the anemometer, even under demanding conditions.
Springy shell stars
The rigid struts are replaced by springs to avoid mechanical stresses that can occur primarily in crane and excavator systems. They are mostly used in conjunction with a pendulum design.
Note: Only suitable for wind speeds up to 20 m/s.

REED CONTACT
Speed measurement in the switched-off state
We also offer an optional reed contact system for our wind sensors. This allows wind speed to be measured and analyzed even without operating voltage.
Seawater protection coating
Long-lasting operational readiness in
saline environment
When using wind sensors in permanently salty environments, an additional coating protects the devices from premature corrosion.
CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE
Measured values on the test bench
Upon request, we will supply your device with an official calibration certificate. This certificate confirms the accuracy and reliability of the measuring instrument and ensures that it complies with applicable industry standards.
