Rotary encoders from FSG remote control devices are used in numerous applications worldwide. The MH609 series, with its versatile variants, impresses with its compact dimensions and robust construction. The MH609 series of devices are the smallest magnetic Rotary Encoders in the FSG portfolio: their housing diameter is 22 millimeters and the housing length approximately 41 millimeters. The redundant Hall sensor of the MH609 detects angular ranges from 0 to 360° with a 12-bit resolution, and the signal output is either digital (CAN bus) or analog. These miniature Rotary Encoders are exceptionally robust and suitable for use in harsh environments. The anodized aluminum housing with IP65 protection contributes to the devices' long service life; the MH609 is shock-resistant and insensitive to vibrations, and it operates in a wide temperature range from -40 to +85 °C.

The cost-effective MH609y-II-CAN digital series offers maximum functionality for a wide range of applications and requires no additional converters. The MH609y-II-MU-i variant offers the same functionality but with analog signal outputs (2 x 4–20 mA). The latest development is the MH609-P Rotary Encoder: This allows for free rotation angle programming up to 360°, ideal for various agricultural applications. This makes it possible to use a single model for different applications with varying rotation angles – saving time and money.
