Lightweight draw-wire mechanism of the Basic series
The SL001250-X1-GS55 draw-wire mechanism from the Basic series combines the GS55 design with a measuring length of up to 1.25 m. The lightweight Noryl housing, the linearity of ±0.01%, and the plastic-coated measuring cable make this design an economical basis for precise displacement measurements with an externally mounted rotary encoder.

FSG draw-wire sensors can be combined with various single-turn and multi-turn rotary encoders to determine the extended cable length. Depending on the measuring length and desired output signal, the connection is made directly via a coupling or via a suitable measuring gearbox.
This allows the draw-wire mechanism to be flexibly adapted to existing controls, preferred encoder systems and individual measurement tasks.
