FSG Fernsteuergeräte has received EU type-examination certification from TÜV NORD for its proven and robust AN-60-Z-MH series of anemometers, for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

FSG anemometers are used wherever reliable and precise wind speed measurement is required, even under demanding conditions. The AN-60-Z-MH series is now optionally available with ATEX or IECEx certification. This allows the new generation of FSG anemometers with magnetic measuring systems to be used in potentially explosive atmospheres where there is no risk of ignition during normal operation or foreseeable malfunctions (protection level Gb).

Reliable in operation, diverse accessories

Typical applications for the AN-60-Z-MH include safety and monitoring systems for cranes and excavators, ski lifts and cable cars, wind turbines, and as components of all types of weather stations. FSG anemometers operate as standard with a wear-free magnetic measuring system; the wind speed measuring range extends from 0 to 40 m/sec.

A wide range of options and accessories makes it possible to find the best configuration for each application, such as spring-loaded bowl stars or an electronically controlled heater for operation down to -35 °C.
