High precision, robust construction, and designed for durability: Rotary encoders from FSG Fernsteuergeräte prove their worth every day in a wide variety of industries. The product range includes models with housing diameters from 22 mm to 100 mm and numerous variants covering both analog and digital interfaces. The MH613 single-turn Rotary Encoder is a particularly compact model that can be programmed by the user.

With a housing length of only 36 mm, the MH613 series Rotary Encoders are also suitable for applications with very limited installation space. Designed as a single-turn Rotary Encoder by default, multi-turn versions are also available: thanks to an integrated gearbox, the MH613 can then detect a maximum of 16 revolutions (16 * 206° = 5760°). This feature is particularly useful in combination with FSG's Draw Wire Sensors.

Typical applications of the compact Rotary Encoder can be found in the field of automation technology, e.g. in packaging and production machines, or also in lifting platforms for workshops.

User-programmable

In the optional version with a membrane keypad on the back of the housing, the MH613's signal output can be easily programmed by the user by entering the zero and end points via the keypad. If the MH613 is required without a keypad, programming is performed by FSG.

The housing of the MH613 is made of anodized aluminum as standard, with protection class IP65. The measuring system is magnetic and therefore contactless; signal output options are available for 4–20 mA or 0–10 V.

As with all FSG products, customers always have the option of obtaining individually configured devices based on the broad series portfolio, optimally tailored to the required specifications – even as individual pieces, prototypes or small series.
