FSG's Rotary Encoder program currently comprises numerous series with housing diameters ranging from 22 to 100 mm. Special versions complement the standard program, including the extremely compact MH605-II-MU Rotary Encoder without a drive shaft (13 mm diameter) and the robust MH14-12-CAN-GS125 multiturn Rotary Encoder with a rotating ring (125 mm housing diameter). The housing of FSG Rotary Encoders is made of anodized aluminum as standard, with stainless steel available as an option.

Continuous innovation, broad range of applications

The latest development is the programmable miniature Rotary Encoder MH609-P: It is used, for example, in control devices such as joysticks, throttle levers, or other systems with limited installation space. Its special feature is that the rotation angle is freely programmable from 0 to 360 degrees, even by the user. The advantage: For tasks with different rotation angles, only one model is needed, which can be programmed as required – saving time and money.

Based on its broad range of Rotary Encoders, FSG also offers customers individually configured devices, precisely tailored to their desired specifications. Thanks to its many years of expertise and high level of vertical integration, the sensor technology expert can also produce small batches, one-off pieces, or prototypes quickly, perfectly meeting customer requirements.

Long service life, high operational reliability

All models share a robust design and, consequently, a long service life – important features for use in agricultural vehicles and other agricultural equipment and systems. FSG Rotary Encoders are also available for specially protected areas, such as those with ATEX or IECEx approval or other classifications and safety requirements (IP protection up to IP69k). This means that FSG Rotary Encoders can also be used in environments where there is a risk of explosion, such as in biogas plants or where special care is required due to bulk materials like grain, flour, or animal feed.
