We are a leading supplier and manufacturer of measurement and sensor technology. The group develops joysticks, tilt sensors, and many other components for almost all industrial sectors. For 75 years, the company has concentrated its expertise at its headquarters in Berlin. Together with three other plants in Brandenburg and Hesse, FSG employs more than 500 people.

Sensor technology expert FSG invited all partner companies to a joint exchange at the beginning of September. The Global Partners Summit 2023 was attended by 20 participants from the twelve international sales partners with whom FSG ensures the worldwide presence and availability of its innovative and proven products.

Eight partner companies are based in Europe: In Scandinavia, FSG is represented by sales offices in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Partners in the Netherlands, France, Austria, and Switzerland ensure that FSG's innovative solutions are consistently available to customers and prospective clients in Germany's immediate neighbors. Representative offices in Spain and Italy complete the European service and sales network. Further international offices are located in India and South Africa; customer support and sales for North and South America are managed by the subsidiary FSG Sensors Inc., headquartered in Freeport, Maine, USA.

Networking, new products and factory tours

Over two days in September, participants learned about FSG's latest innovations, including the new SL00-R model from the Draw Wire Sensor family and the MH609-P programmable miniature Rotary Encoder. The international guests were also eager to see FSG's newest generation of joysticks, including the extremely durable ST-MHT-II-GS85 and the innovative LRP-2515 steering joystick, which can replace the traditional steering wheel in construction machinery or agricultural vehicles.

The program naturally included factory tours at the three locations in Berlin, Zernsdorf, and Kablow. Here, the sales experts gained valuable insights into development, production, and quality assurance, and were able to witness firsthand the high level of vertical integration that is typical for FSG. They were particularly impressed by the diverse options for customer-specific modifications of standard models – another specialty of the long-established company. A well-rounded and attractive evening program rounded off the Global Partners Summit 2023: a performance of the musical Cabaret at the Tipi am Kanzleramt in the heart of the capital.

Valuable insights into international markets

With this event, FSG aligned its sales network with its current strategy. Conversely, the sensor manufacturer received valuable feedback regarding international markets and their respective specific characteristics. "Each of our partners contributes to the success of our products and the FSG brand," said Christian Schulz, Managing Director of FSG. "Companies like Pulsteknik, Elteco, FISEG, Batenburg, and many more also represent the diversity of our solutions across a wide range of industries. This exchange is invaluable for us in further refining our future marketing strategies."

FSG aims to further develop the Global Partners Summit format and its networking concept. While a new date has not yet been set, a follow-up event is planned for the not-too-distant future.
