We are a leading supplier and manufacturer of measurement and sensor technology. The group develops joysticks, tilt sensors, and many other components for almost all industrial sectors. For 75 years, the company has concentrated its expertise at its headquarters in Berlin. Together with three other plants in Brandenburg and Hesse, FSG employs more than 500 people.
For the fourth time, FSG will be exhibiting at iVT Expo 2026 in Cologne (June 10 and 11), the trade fair for industrial vehicles and off-highway equipment. Among the new products FSG will be presenting are the second generation of the LPR-3020 steering joystick, the SL00-R and SL-A series cable-operated encoders, and an LED signal light for operating autonomous vehicles and machines.
Trade fair visitors will have the opportunity to experience the complete portfolio of the sensor technology expert, in addition to the aforementioned trade fair highlights. This year, the FSG booth can be found in Hall 1, Booth No. 5110.
Steering joystick LPR-3020 with noticeable improvements
FSG has incorporated several customer suggestions into the second generation of its steering joystick. The most noticeable change is the less bulky housing, which is more than 60% smaller than that of the LPR-2515. The feedback angle and deflection angle have each been increased by 5 degrees, and the operating noise has been audibly reduced. The LPR-3020 steering joystick allows for the control of special-purpose vehicles and agricultural machinery in a way that offers numerous advantages over conventional steering wheels. These include improved ergonomics and haptic feedback via an actuator in the handle, which helps drivers to control their vehicles more safely.
LED signal light for autonomous vehicles
With the SG-OA-Z-CAN-GS80 LED signal light, FSG is responding to the increasing demand for reliable signaling devices that ensure the safe operation of autonomous machines and vehicles. The device integrates seamlessly into the vehicle's electronics via the CAN bus interface. The signaling device generates visual and audible warning signals that can be individually configured. A unique feature: the speaker plays stored audio files instead of tones, enabling differentiated, individualized warning messages within the context of autonomous processes. Further features include a robust design (protection class IP66) and high light output, compliant with ECE-R65 (road approval) – ensuring visibility even in daylight and at long distances.
SL00-R cable pull sensors with second size
Following the market success of the SL00-R-GS80 cable-operated length sensor, FSG has expanded its portfolio of compact length measuring devices with a second size. This provides customers with variants offering measuring lengths up to 3 and up to 7 meters. The robustly built devices are suitable for outdoor use and deliver precise measurement data even under harsh conditions. Typical applications include mobile cranes, forestry vehicles and machinery, agricultural technology, and rail transport. A unique feature of the SL00-R series is its high degree of flexibility: An optional rotary encoder can be mounted on either side of the housing, and the cable pull-off can be aligned to the left or right as needed. A 360° deflection pulley (optional accessory) allows the cable to be guided in any desired direction.
SL-A series cable pull sensor
With the SL-A series, FSG builds upon a proven design principle in the field of cable-extension sensors and refines it in an optimized form. The innovative design implementation enables high measurement accuracy and repeatability across the entire measuring range. As a result, the SL-A series devices combine precision, the typically high FSG quality, and cost-effectiveness. Applications for the SL-A series include general mechanical and plant engineering, mobile machinery, automation, and lifting systems. It is particularly attractive for OEM customers who require a compact design and precision for series production while also seeking a cost-effective solution.
The FSG team looks forward to once again engaging in personal conversations with partners, customers, and interested parties and presenting its current product portfolio. Visit FSG at the iVT Expo in Cologne on June 10th and 11th, 2026, Hall 1, Booth 5110.
