FSG is exhibiting at AGRITECHNICA 2025, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. From November 9th to 15th, the company will present its agricultural technology solutions in Hanover. Among the new products are a bus-controlled LED signal light for use with autonomous agricultural machinery and in automated work processes, as well as newly developed slip rings for transmitting power and signals.

With its new SG-OA-Z-CAN-GS80 signal light, FSG is responding to the increasing demand for reliable signal transmitters that ensure the safe operation of autonomous machines and vehicles. The sensor manufacturer anticipates a rapidly growing need for such signaling solutions, particularly in the agricultural, construction, logistics, and municipal engineering sectors.

LED signal light SG-OA-Z-CAN-GS80

This new product was developed in cooperation with renowned companies in the agricultural sector, with the aim of creating a solution for clear and early external communication from autonomous machines and vehicles in accordance with DIN ISO 18497. The device integrates seamlessly into the vehicle's electronics via the CAN bus interface. The signal generator produces visual and acoustic warning signals that can be individually customized: Instead of tones, the speaker plays stored audio files at a volume of up to 105 dB – a real added value for differentiated, individualized warning messages in the context of autonomous processes.

Further features include its robust construction (IP66 protection class), specifically designed for outdoor use. The housing is made of anodized aluminum and impact-resistant PMMA plastic. The high light output (≥ 230 cd (amber), ≥ 120 cd (red/green), compliant with ECE-R65 (road approval), ensures clear visibility even in daylight and at long distances. Control is via CAN bus, compatible with CANopen (250 kbit/s, Node ID 0x19).

Modular slip ring SR-GS190

Ideally suited for use in mobile machinery, the SR-GS190 slip ring reliably transmits power (up to 80 A), high voltage (up to 800 V including HVIL), as well as signals and data (10 A / 24 V or 3 A / 24 V; CAN, Ethernet), while offering flexible adaptability. The housing is made of aluminum and plastic (IP65 protection rating). Further technical data and features: maximum speed 10 rpm, vertical mounting position, temperature range -30 °C to +70 °C, weight approx. 8 kg (without cable). Special features include its modular design and the integration of Rotary Encoders and switching cams.

Compact slip ring SR-GS150-H8 with broad performance

FSG developed this highly robust slip ring for applications with limited installation space and high loads, such as in construction machinery and mobile equipment. It has a height of only 8 mm, a housing made of aluminum and plastic, and a diameter of 150 mm. Despite its compact design, the system enables the reliable transmission of power (up to 5 A continuous, 8 A short-term) and signals via a total of 18 channels – 8 for power and 10 for data.

FSG will also be showcasing the next generation of its LPR-2515 steering joystick at the trade fair, featuring several modifications incorporated from practical experience.
