For simultaneous angle and tilt measurement, e.g., on Draw Wireey systems and in cable drums, the sensor specialist FSG has developed the MH64-II-CAN/Mems/GS65 series special Rotary Encoder.
The magnetic multiturn Rotary Encoder is equipped with a redundant Hall sensor for angle measurement of up to 64 revolutions and also features a redundant single-axis Inclination Sensor that detects tilt angles from 0° to 360°.
